Civic Technologies evolved out of a 15-year consulting practice headed by president and CEO Marc Futterman and vice-president and CTO Mayee Salgado. Their work is broadly based around the built environment including the disciplines of architecture, urban planning, GIS, community consensus building processes, transportation planning, demographics, and real estate development. The lessons learned from this broad spectrum of experience led to the creation of Civic Technologies as a customer-focused company that leverages the power of GIS technology to integrate all of the resources available to the public sector for creating powerful, decision-making applications delivered to the desktop computer of executives and staff members throughout an organization.
